Research Intern at CERN, Switzerland, at age 16: Largest particle physics laboratory for nuclear research (July 12, 2021-present)

*Working on Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detectors, a new muon system in Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), to develop a new data acquisition system for one of the detector’s quality controls under Dr Marcello Maggi as part of the CMS collaboration

*Collecting, decoding and analyzing event data on detector physics in a “ROOT” format package called TREE; translating from one event model to a different, but equivalent event model; writing and reading-back TREES using C, C++, python, ROOT-macros; working on how specific TREES are defined, writing application for the translation; decrypting event content, which is the response of GEM detector to the ionization processes induced by X-rays
