Pritvik Sinhadc
A conscientious, curious, and passionate researcher with a scientifically-driven creative mind, always eager to tackle critical problems via balanced, breakthrough solutions.
As a Year 13 student of Dubai College, Pritvik Sinhadc has undertaken rigorous challenges in both academics and research, achieving straight A*s and contributing to cutting-edge science by working on multiple projects as an Affiliated Researcher at the BEYOND: Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science, and as the youngest Co-Author of NASA’s ‘Astrobiology Primer 3.0’ to be published on astrobiologyprimer.org. He got to write Chapter 9 titled, ‘How the origin of life on Earth can inform us about life as we don’t know it’, to be published in ‘Astrobiology’ journal.
Currently, a Research Intern at CERN, Geneva, he is working as part of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) collaboration on the Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detectors—a new muon system in CMS at the Large Hadron Collider—to develop a new data acquisition system for one of the detector’s quality controls.
Having completed the highly prestigious and super-selective International Summer School for Young Physicists (ISSYP) program under the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics this summer, he has also taken one of Harvard University’s college credit courses titled, ‘Planets, Moons and Their Stars: The Search for Life in the Cosmos’ as part of Harvard’s Secondary School Program, etc.
A Rise: Global Youth Talent Finalist working on Climate Change as his ‘Big Idea’, with a project titled, ‘Network Theory models of mass extinctions’, he is also a World Science Scholar—under-18 exceptional mathematicians in the world—a first from the MENA region.
He also happens to be the world’s youngest author in paleontology having published my first book, ‘When Dinosaurs Roamed the Earth’, at 7. Since then, he has authored a few more including, ‘Planet Radioactive’ and ‘Walking with Prehistoric Beasts’.
A Future Stars-Arabian Achievement Award winner, Sharjah Book Authority’s Incredible Talent, TEDx speaker, Femina Middle East’s Young Achiever, British Science Association’s Young Science Ambassador, Emirates Environmental Group’s Crystal Trophy winner, Sinhadc is also the Founder-CEO of PAWS for Therapy, and the UAE Ambassador of Organ Donation (declared by the UAE Prime Minister).
